Privacy Policy

This Privacy and Cookie Policy of the website, hereinafter referred to as the Website, outlines the rules for processing and protecting personal data and the use of cookies and other technologies such as: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel in connection with Users' use of the Website.

§ 1 Definitions

For the purposes of this privacy policy, the following terms are defined as follows:

  1. Administrator — Fidendo Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw at ul. J.J. Śniadeckich 10 00-656 Warsaw, entered in the commercial register maintained by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, Economic Court, 12th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under the number KRS 0000719933, Regon 369536520, VAT ID 5252740578, share capital 125,000 PLN.

  2. Website — the service available at www.fidendo.pl.

  3. User — any entity who views the content of the Website.

  4. GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

§ 2 Personal Data

The Data Controller of the User's personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is the Administrator.

  1. The User may provide their personal data to the Administrator through the contact details available on the Website.

  2. The legal basis for processing Users' personal data is the voluntary, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent given by the User by contacting the Administrator via telephone or email.

  3. Personal data may also be processed in situations where the Administrator is authorised to process personal data based on legal provisions or to fulfil an agreement concluded between the parties.

  4. The personal data provided to the Administrator by the User is processed in order to execute remote agreements via email. Providing personal data by the User is voluntary, but necessary for the User to conclude an agreement with the Administrator. This data will be processed for the duration of the order processing and the fulfilment of statutory obligations incumbent on the administrator (e.g., tax and accounting), as well as for potential claims.

  5. The Administrator may entrust personal data to other entities that assist in achieving the purposes outlined in the previous points (e.g., hosting service providers, accounting firms, courier companies, associates of the Administrator).

  6. The Administrator guarantees the confidentiality of all personal data entrusted to them.

  7. Personal data is collected with due diligence and properly protected against access by unauthorised persons, and its processing complies with and is under the conditions detailed in:

    a) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council from 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC,

    b) the Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Electronic Services,

    c) the Act of 10 May 2018 on Personal Data Protection.

§ 3 Right of Use

The user has rights related to the processing of their personal data, including:

a) the right to access data

b) the right to correct data

c) the right to restrict data processing

d) the right to object to data processing

e) the right to delete data (known as the right to be forgotten)

f) the right to data portability

g) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding the processing of personal data by the Administrator

  1. The user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, if the user has previously given such consent.

§ 4 Collected Information

During the User's use of the Website, data concerning the User are automatically collected. This data includes, among others: IP address, domain name, browser type, and operating system type. This data may be collected by cookies and may also be recorded in server logs.

  1. Cookies are files sent to the User's computer or other device (e.g., laptop, smartphone, tablet) when browsing the Website. Cookies remember the User's preferences, which enables the improvement of service quality, enhancement of search results, and relevance of displayed information, as well as anonymous tracking of User preferences.

  2. The User consents to the storage or access of cookies by the Administrator on their device through the settings of the browser installed on the User's device.

  3. The User can opt out of cookies by selecting appropriate settings in the web browser they use. In such a situation, the User's use of the Website may be hindered (e.g., the site may operate slower).

  4. The User can delete existing cookies from the device using the browser's specific functions, programs designed for this purpose, or by using the appropriate tools available within the operating system the User employs.

  5. Using the Website involves sending queries to the server where the Website is stored. Each such query is recorded in the server logs. Logs include, among others: the User's IP address, date and time of server login, information about the used web browser and operating system.

  6. Data saved in server logs are not associated in any way with specific Users of the Website and are not used by the Administrator to identify the User. Server logs are used for administering the Website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone outside those authorized to administer the server.

  7. The Website uses technologies that anonymously record actions taken by the User while using the Website. These include:

    a) Google Analytics – used for analysing Website statistics

    b) Facebook Pixel – used for managing and optimising advertising on Facebook

  8. Data obtained by these tools are not associated in any way with specific Users of the Website and are not used by the Administrator to identify the User.

  9. The consequence of applying the technologies mentioned in § 3 point 8 will be the optimisation of the Website, its content, and the Product offer to meet the User's needs.

§ 5 Purpose of Data Usage

The data provided by the User or collected automatically is used by the Administrator for the purpose of:

a) ensuring the proper functioning, configuration, and security of the Website,

b) monitoring session status,

c) conducting analyses, research, and audits of Website views,

d) as well as for statistical and marketing purposes.

This document may be subject to changes influenced by the development of internet technology, changes in personal data protection laws, and the advancement of our Website and Store. Any modifications will be communicated to Users promptly in a visible and comprehensible manner.
